The Advent season invites us to pause and think of others. This year, we would like to make a difference together again – with small donations that can have a big impact. Under the motto “Small things – big impact,” we would like to introduce you to two projects that are particularly close to our hearts:
Wheelchair ramps for schools in the Omaheke region
Many children in the Omaheke region still need help from others to reach their classrooms because there are no wheelchair ramps.
A simple ramp means independence, participation, and access to education for these children – things that we take for granted.
The construction of a wheelchair ramp costs €120 and also creates work for local craftsmen who process the material directly on site. This means that the added value remains in Namibia and supports families in the region.
With the help of the ramps, children with physical disabilities are given the opportunity to actively participate in lessons, make friends, and confidently take their place in the community.

School meals for children in the Omaheke region
Many children in the Omaheke region come to school in the morning without breakfast. An empty stomach makes learning difficult – and often leads to children staying away from school.A warm school meal is therefore much more than just a meal: it provides strength, concentration, and hope. It enables children to get through the school day with energy, meet friends, and enjoy learning.
With 35 euros, you can finance school meals for one school for one day. The meals are prepared by local cooks who source ingredients from the surrounding area. This creates additional jobs and strengthens local economic cycles.
A plate of warm food changes a child’s everyday life – and can make the difference between hunger and future prospects.
